The Welcome Café A welcoming social meeting point on Diss Market Day, providing beverages, freshly baked cheese scones, cakes for sale, plus second-hand books and bric-a-brac. The Dove Dementia Café Every first Wednesday of the month, 10am- 1pm. A meeting place with activities and refreshments plus a light lunch, for people with dementia and their carers. Dove Song Every third Monday of the month at 1.30pm. Led by a qualified Music Therapist, this therapeutic singing group is particularly for those with Parkinsons or Dementia, those recovering from strokes or anyone needing to exercise their lungs. It is open to all and a donation to cover costs, as can be afforded, is appreciated.

Dove Song Plus! Every third Wednesday of the month at 2.30- 4pm. A singing group for those with complex needs and their carers. Led by a qualified musician, we sing songs of choice and have a great time, followed by refreshments and chat. Free of charge. Dove Café Church Informal act of worship with traditional hymns, reflection and prayer, followed by refreshments. Open to all. Fourth Monday of the month, 1.30pm. Junior Church At the United Reformed Church every 4th Sunday of the month and all other Sundays at the Methodist Church round the corner on Victoria Road.

Tuesday Together (also called Tuesday Fellowship) Every Tuesday, 2-4pm at Diss Methodist Church. A social group with a short period of worship followed by a shared activity and tea. NEW Group Dovelets A music group for pre-school children with special needs. 2nd Tuesday of the month from 10-11am followed by refreshments. NEW International Friendship Group 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 10am-12pm. Make new friends, support, information and activities. Meeting room hire A range of meeting rooms and halls are available to the community for hire.

Upcoming events A wide variety of events is held at the Church every month.

The local congregation meet on the fourth Sunday of the month at 10.45am to which you are warmly invited. All other Sundays we worship at the Methodist Church just round the corner on Victoria Road, two minutes walk past the shops. Junior Church is provided at all services. Dove Cafe Church, and informal shorter service open to all, on the 4th Monday of the month at 1.30pm, followed by refreshments. Occasional Taize style worship, see monthly calendar. The local congregation, worshipping with the Methodists on Sunday at 10.45am, meet at the URC on the fourth Sunday of the month (Junior Church is also provided during this service) and at the Methodist Church in Victoria Road, Diss, on other Sundays. A warm welcome is given to visitors from all Christian traditions and to those from none, and an open invitation is offered to any who might care to join them.
